HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TPH Partners, the middle-market energy private equity funds manager, has partnered with a seasoned management team led by Terry Dobkins to form Elk Meadows Resources LLC, an independent upstream company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Elk Meadows is focused on the acquisition and development of onshore oil and gas properties across the Permian Basin and the Rockies.

Terry Dobkins, President and CEO of Elk Meadows, has led successful exploration and development in multiple basins across the United States over his thirty-four year career in the oil and gas industry. In 2007, Terry co-founded and served as CEO of a private equity-backed upstream company. Prior to co-founding that company, Terry was an engineering and operations senior executive at multiple well-regarded Rockies and unconventionally focused companies. In addition to Mr. Dobkins, the management team includes Tony Martin, CFO, and Gary Alsobrook, Vice President of Land and Business Development, who each have over twenty-five years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
